Great sports in PE for Oakhill boys

KNYSNA NEWS - Two of Oakhill's Prep teams participated in sporting festivals in Port Elizabeth over the weekend of 13 and 14 April.

The u13A boys' hockey team once again competed in the Grey Junior School Spar Hockey Tournament, up against some of the best hockey schools in the Eastern Cape.

The games were tight, but Oakhill kept their composure and demonstrated their skill and sportsmanship against the stronger competition. Once again the Oakhill boys were hosted by the Grey u13A team, allowing them to form fantastic friendships both on and off the field.

This was also true of the u11 boys' rugby team, who took part in the Vodacom Clarendon Park U11 Rugby Festival. Despite this being their first ever rugby tour, the Oakhill boys played with great heart, faring well against tough competition from far larger schools.

Their sportsmanship coupled with the love of the game was evident throughout the weekend.
