KNYSNA HOCKEY NEWS - The two teams from Old Oaks Knysna Hockey Club successfully defended their titles in the finals of the 2021 Eden Hockey Senior League, beating Crusaders Ladies and Quarry Men 2 in the process.
Both Old Oaks Men and Old Oaks Ladies enjoyed near-flawless runs into their respective finals with no losses suffered and a few goals conceded the only blemishes on their records.
Having finished top of their logs when they progressed through the semi-final stage, the finals were to be played at home in Knysna on Saturday 11 September.
In the ladies final, Old Oaks faced off against Crusaders Ladies, whom they beat 2-0 courtesy of goals from sisters Donné and Charné de Wet to earn their fifth consecutive title.
