KNYSNA NEWS - Five dancers from Art In Motion Dance Academy in Knysna delivered standout performances at the Dance Star South African Qualifiers held in Cape Town from 5 to 8 November.
The event, a high-stakes gathering of the nation's top young talents, saw all five representatives secure spots on the national team bound for the prestigious World Dance Masters in Croatia in 2026.
Ages ranging from 9 to 28, the Art In Motion contingent demonstrated versatility and excellence across genres such as jazz, hip hop, lyrical, acro and contemporary.
"We are immensely proud of every one of our dancers. Their hard work, passion and perseverance truly paid off. Qualifying for the South African team is an incredible achievement and a testament to their talent and commitment," said a representative of Art In Motion Dance Academy.
With the qualifiers now behind them, the dancers will shift their focus to intensive training for the international stage.
