KNYSNA NEWS - The Rotary Club Knysna will hold its 25th annual Charity Golf Tournament from 22 to 26 May at six different golf courses.
Proceeds from the fundraiser are used to fund the Rotary Club's community-support programmes in the greater Knysna area.
"We attract golfers from around the country and they play at premium courses between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay," the club says.
The tournament kicks off on the Thursday at the Pinnacle Point Estate Golf Course in Mossel Bay and at the Kingswood Golf Course in George.
On the Friday, the action moves to Knysna, taking place at the Simola Golf and Country Estate and the Pezula Championship Golf Course.
On the Saturday, golfers will tee off at the Knysna Golf Club and the Goose Valley Golf Club in Plettenberg Bay, and on the Sunday at the Simola and Pezula courses.
The final day of the tournament will be be held at the Pinnacle Point and Kingswood courses.
Prizes
The Rotary Club makes all the arrangements with the courses.
"Our club also arranges accommodation for out-of-town golfers and their partners at the Simola Hotel," they say. "The format is two-person-team, better ball, with excellent prizes on Friday through to Sunday."
