GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - With South Africans building up the festive season mood, the Safa Eden Regional League will be starting this coming weekend with games played across the region.
The league's last games will be played in the first week of December before closing for the Christmas holiday season break, and will resume on 10 January 2026.
In the 2025/26 season, the Safa Eden Region extended the number of teams in its roster when Strikers Football Club (Plettenberg Bay) and Flying Eagles FC (Mossel Bay) were promoted to form a part of 18 regional teams.
The winners of the regional competition will gain a play-off spot to the semi-professional league, the Western Cape ABC Motsepe League.
