KNYSNA NEWS - Last week, Garden Route Badgers batter and Knysna resident Tazmin Brits was named the Women's Provincial Player of the Season at the 2022/23 CSA Awards.
Brits enjoyed great success with bat in hand for the Badgers this season, emerging as their top run-scorer in limited overs provincial cricket. Her efforts were pivotal in ensuring the Badgers finished third in both the one-day and T20 competitions this season.
Brits' exploits for the Badgers saw her named as the Women's Player of the Season at the 2022/23 SWD Cricket Awards held in Oudtshoorn last month.
She went one step further and was announced as the overall Women's Provincial Player of the Season in the 2022/23 season at the annual Cricket South Africa (CSA) Awards held in Johannesburg on Friday 7 July.
