GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Personnel and players from the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers were well represented at the Cricket South Africa (CSA) annual awards function that was held at Vodaworld in Midrand on Thursday last week.

Elridge Booysen jointly received the award of CSA Hub Coach of the Year for his outstanding successes with the SWD Hubs team, who won the CSA Hub Challenge for Coastal provinces during March this year.

Blayde Capell, the top run-scorer in the CSA Division 2 Four Day competition, was named as the Four Day player of the season in Division 2.

Member of the Proteas and Garden Route Badgers batting hero, Tazmin Brits, won the Player of the Season in the T20 professional women's league award, while Tabitha la Grange won the Newcomer of the Season award in the Women's Domestic professional league.
