Toddler’s body found in dam
A two-year-old boy from Pretoria North was found dead in the Hartbeespoort dam on Monday afternoon after an extended search by police and the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).
NATIONAL NEWS - A two-year-old boy from Pretoria North was found dead in the Hartbeespoort dam on Monday afternoon after an extended search by police and the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).

The toddler disappeared into the dam on Sunday after a boat capsized. An NSRI crew and the police diving unit have since been searching for him.

Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone, provincial police spokesperson, confirmed the discovery. He said an inquest docket had been opened.

Earlier, NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon said police divers resumed their search for the boy on Monday morning.
