Police spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender says members of the Grahamstown Highway patrol were conducting a vehicle check point on the N2 opposite the Settlers Monument on Thursday afternoon, and stopped a long distance bus that was travelling towards Port Elizabeth.
She says on searching the bus they found two large brown suitcases containing dagga with a street value of nearly R110 000. Govender says a man from Tanzania was arrested, and will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrates court soon on a charge of dealing in dagga.
