PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A small tour bus with nine American tourists on board, caught alight near the Airport Road/ Robberg Road t-junction on Sunday, 18 January at about 10:40.
The tourists all managed to leave the bus safely.
The bus was en route to take the tourists Robberg Nature Reserve where they planned to do the hike, when the incident occurred.
The bus was totally burnt out. Alternative transport was arranged to take the American tourists back to their hotel.
Eon Rabe, the tour guide for Connect Travel said the nine American tourists were fine. “It’s all OK,” said Rabe from the hotel in Main Street Plettenberg Bay where the tourists are staying.
