KNYSNA NEWS - Police have extended an invite to members of the public for a Ministerial Imbizo event, set to be held tomorrow, Thursday 7 December, at Concordia High School.

Matters for discussion at the Imbizo include general crime and policing, business robberies, gender-based violence and femicide as well as murders. 

"The target groups for the Imbizo are communities across the Garden Route District, governmental departments, non-governmental organisations, community police forums, community safety structures, farm watches, neighbourhood watches, religious fraternity, community originations and the general public," said Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies.

The national Deputy Minister of Police, Cassel Mathale, will lead the police delegation. The event will start at 10:00 tomorrow, and will be held in the Concordia High School hall.
