KNYSNA NEWS - Retha Havenga, Knysna Animal Welfare Society made the following appeal to the public:
"We truly need the support of the public, as our food room is nearly empty and we are very desperate for food donations.
"We feed nearly 60 animals twice a day, so a 25kg bag of dog food does not go a long way and only lasts about three days.
"We are heading for puppy and kitten season, which means more unwanted animals will be dropped off at our kennels – and more mouths to feed.
"We would love any dry food donation, but we do need Montego as well, especially for the dogs that need a bit of a boost in their diet.
"Pellet donations can be dropped at Pet & Pool, Spar at Knysna Mall, Knysna Vets or our kennels in 1 Marlin Road, Hunters Home."
