KNYSNA NEWS - As part of a Safer Schools campaign, the office of deputy police minister Bongani Mkongi, in partnership with the office of science and technology minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubani conducted an Outreach programme at Percy Mdala High School last week, an initiative that is aimed at promoting science, technology and safety in schools.
Through this programme, laptops and scientific calculators were handed to the school on Friday 22 February.
Various speakers addressed the school, including a representative from the provincial youth crime prevention desk, with a strong focus on dissuading learners from involving themselves in criminal activities.
