KNYSNA NEWS – The Rotary Club Knysna will be under new stewardship for the 2021/22 year, with incoming president Albert Lombaard taking over the reins from outgoing president Andrew Finn.
Every year, the month of July marks the start of a new year and a new theme for Rotary International, with the theme for the year to come being 'Serve to Change Lives'.
"Our club looks forward to another productive year under the leadership of our incoming president, Albert Lombaard," Knysna Rotary said in a statement on social media.
"Big thanks go to outgoing 2020/2021 President Andrew Finn, who ably led the club during extremely challenging times."
Even though the past year and a bit have been tough, Finn is proud of what they had achieved. "We've had a wonderful year, we've been very productive and started a lot of great projects such as food drives and vegetable gardens and so much more," Finn recalls. "I'm really happy that we can hand over to another great team for the year ahead."
