Make a point of getting to Gericke's
Gericke's Point. A magical place when advection fog drifts in off the cold ocean.

SEDGEFIELD NEWS - The beautiful beach hike from Swartvlei Beach to Gericke's Point just outside Sedgefield is a 3,4km out-and-back trail. 

The easy route takes about 45 minutes to complete. Dogs are not allowed. 

It is popular for birding, fishing, hiking, exploring rock pools and snorkelling. The route can be busy in December.

From Gericke's Point you can continue to Kleinkrantz near Wilderness.

This is a moderately challenging 12,2km point-to-point beach hike, popular for birding, hiking and running.
