KNYSNA NEWS - Volunteers from the Loerie Hope Foundation held a Christmas party for the homeless community who live in the Loerie Park area.
The volunteers produced a magnificent feast and handed out Christmas buckets from Checkers who provided the group with bread and fruit at low cost for the soup kitchen feeding scheme.
The volunteers also handed out Christmas packets to the kids who come to the soup kitchen each week with their parents and also gifted clothes to the little ones.
The volunteers aim to continue serving the community in 2024, with future plans to provide further assistance with IDs, drivers licences, skills training and job placements, income producing enterprises, accommodation and ablutions.
