Knysna Municipality has revealed plans to open a homeless shelter in the New Year, following a collaborative effort involving stakeholders and community members.

KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality has announced that a homeless shelter will open at the start of the New Year. 

The initiative is a collaborative effort involving key stakeholders and community members and aims to provide a safe haven for the homeless in Knysna. 

Significant progress made in terms of infrastructure repairs and upgrades. 

The municipality is committed to supporting the project and facilitating funding from the Department of Social Development to ensure the shelter is managed by a Non-Profit Organization in the future.
