PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Beachgoers are being urged to keep an eye out for stranded marine animals as severe sea and weather conditions sweep through the Plettenberg Bay area this weekend.
The Plett Stranding Network said strong westerly winds and 7 to 7, 5m swells are expected for the area. As a result they expect strandings to occur from today, Saturday 20 August, into next week.
“Please check for animals who may need our assistance, and be sure to take care when near the ocean,” the team urged.
In case of a stranding, the Plett Stranding Network can be contacted on 079 463 4837.
