KNYSNA NEWS - The inaugural Knysna Film Festival got under way on Tuesday 29 October with a screening of the new Fiela se Kind film, directed by Brett Michael Innes, at Premier Resort Hotel the Moorings with none other than Hollywood film star Shannon Elizabeth of cult classics such as Scary Movie, American Pie and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back in attendance.

The opening event of the very first Knysna Film Fest was attended by more than 100 delegates of the festival and people of Knysna, who enjoyed a screening of Fiela se Kind after having some time to mingle and network.
If you missed the evening, fear not as you can catch tons more film fest action right up until Saturday 2 November, with films to be screened all over Knysna.
The festival will conclude this Saturday evening with an awards gala evening and screening of Stroop. Tickets are available at Computicket or the festival office at the Knysna Waterfront.
