PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay's beach accesses and walkways are getting special attention to ensure their readiness for the upcoming holidays.
Bitou ward 2 councillor Dave Swart recently accompanied various role-players to the area's walkways and beaches, to determine their state of readiness ahead of the influx of visitors expected over the holidays.
"Rostering has been done to ensure regular maintenance and much work has already been done pruning the bushes and cutting the grass on the pathways," Swart said.
He added that work to repair walkways and deal with other issues was still ongoing, and was expected to be completed by the end of next month.
"Thanks to the teams for the work they are doing to have our tourist facilities in the best condition for our busy year-end period."
