KNYSNA NEWS - Two seasoned senior officers have joined the leadership team at the Knysna police station, a move expected to strengthen crime-fighting efforts in both Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) has appointed Lt Col Nomthandazo Ethel Balasana as the new commander of Visible Policing in Knysna, while Lt Col Graven le Roux has taken over as head of the detective branch.
With many years of operational experience, specialised training and policing expertise between them, the two officers are expected to bolster local efforts to address rising crime in the area.
