PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A 27-year-old Crags man died and three passengers were seriously injured when their vehicle overturned on the N2 just outside Plettenberg Bay.
Police spokesperson Captain Marlene Pieterse said the grey Opel Corsa Lite they were travelling in left the road near Buco just after 02:00 on Monday morning.
The group was on their way from an event at the KwanoKuthula Stadium when the accident occurred, she said. "The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned." Pieterse added that the 27-year-old driver was declared dead on the scene by Metro paramedics. Two male passengers were transported to the Knysna Provincial Hospital, while a 17-year-old female passenger was taken to the George Hospital. "All the occupants are from Flower Street in the Crags."
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
