KNYSNA NEWS - The Titans Table Tennis Academy of Knysna recently qualified for the 2025 South African National Table Tennis Championships.
The championships are currently taking place in Durban (from 4 to 9 October) and features top players from every province competing for national glory.
Beyond the medals and titles, the event serves as a key pathway to selection for the South African national teams.
The team earned their place at the event after impressive performances during the regional trials held in Mossel Bay earlier this year.
Representing the academy at the championships are Taylor Ruiters, Jae-Leigh Hoffman, Irisha Pedro, Delzanthy Pedro, Cassie Stevens, Kai Windvogel, Marquin Kayser, and Deveigon Williams, under their coach, Llewellyn van Rooyen.
Van Rooyen expressed pride in his team’s dedication and progress.
“Our players have worked incredibly hard to reach this level. Qualifying for the nationals is a huge achievement, and we’re excited to see how they perform against the country’s best,” he said.
