These youngsters collected small change, which they donated to the the founding director of the scheme, Shelley Godsell. The learners have been supporting this initiative for a number of years now, and Godsell annually visits the school to inform children about the e'Pap initiative. The learners' kind gesture formed part of their Life Skills curriculum.
This year, it was decided to also hand over a portion of Knysna High School's My School Card income to this worthy cause.
In addition, three learners, Gia Persello, Kelsey Willemse and Cayla Aitchison, baked and sold cupcakes, generating R310 for the feeding scheme.
Godsell thanked the youngsters for their keen support, and explained what a difference it makes that a few more pre-schoolers can start their day with a full tummy.
