GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A weather warning, level 1 has been issued for damaging waves from Wednesday, 6 April 12 noon until Thursday, 7 April 12 noon.

Significant wave heights of 4 to 5 m expected between Cape Point and Plettenberg Bay with westerly winds touching near gale force winds resulting in very rough and choppy seas.

Expected difficulty in navigation at sea for small vessels and small personal water crafts like kayaks, also small vessels that are at risk of taking on water and capsizing.
