KNYSNA NEWS - The St James Anglican Church Patronal Festival was a week-long celebration of service, marking the feast of St James on 25 July.
The event was organised by the Rector, Father Jerome Prins, the churchwardens, Harry Laminie and Penny Ruiters, and the Church Council of St James.
St James Church, one of the oldest standing churches in the Hornlee community, celebrated its 50th anniversary with its cornerstone laid by Bishop Patrick Barron on 11 March 1973.
The congregation currently serves three other congregations: St Anne Brackenhill, St Stephen Concordia and St Isaac Dam-se-Bos.
