Some beaches have been closed due to rough sea conditions.

PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay lifeguard services have closed several local beaches due to adverse sea conditions today, Friday 17 December.

Authorities announced that Wreck and Lookout beaches had been closed because of rough sea conditions and currents. 

At Robberg 5, bathers are advised to only go knee-deep into the water. “Various beaches will open and close throughout the day as conditions improve or deteriorate,” lifeguard services advised.

“Please obey all lifeguard instructions and only swim between the flags.”
