KNYSNA NEWS - Two men arrested in connection with a robbery at the premises of a school in Hornlee, are scheduled to appear in the Knysna Magistrates Court today, 15 May.
The incident occurred on 25 April and both suspects, Loyiso Kolwapi (26) and Siyabonga Gesi (25) were arrested subsequent to the incident and have been in custody since their arrest on the said date.
Knysna police communications official, sergeant Chris Spies, said their detective branch is investigating two cases of robbery.
“It is alleged that the victims, aged 13, were in the bathroom preparing for rugby practice when the suspects entered. They threatened the girls with knives and took their cell phones before they fled from the scene,” said Spies.
The investigation into the matter continues.
