KNYSNA NEWS - Questions have been raised over the Pink Loerie theme for 2018, but does it mean what we think it means?
What is S&M? This may raise an eyebrow or two, as the connotations of dungeons and whips come to mind.
And yet this is the theme for the 2018 Pink Loerie Mardi Gras and Arts Festival.
The big question on everyone’s lips is what exactly this means?
Does it refer to what comes to most people’s minds, or is there a different meaning?
All will be revealed on Wednesday 15 November at Villa Castollini in Knysna.
The event is advertised for 17:30 to start at 18:00 and based on reactions from the public so far, there is a great buzz around this event.
Several dignitaries from Knysna will be in attendance, as will some famous faces.
It will even feature the obligatory drag act as part of the entertainment line-up.
An open invitation has been extended to all guesthouses in the area and other local businesses to participate in the event.
In this way everybody can network, showcase their services and/or products and show their support.
Stalls are R150 each and will include a food platter.
Mitchell’s Beer and Kay & Monty Wines have already confirmed and will give the guests the best tasting experience.
