KNYSNA NEWS - On 20 October, the Knysna Lions Club donated six new, sturdy wheelchairs to transport patients on Tuesdays when they are brought to the Knysna Sedgefield Hospice offices in Hunter's Home for daycare.

"Our social worker coordinates daycare and gives our confined patients a chance to get out of the house and to socialise with other patients and our friendly volunteers. They do arts and crafts while there and eat a nutritious meal while having the opportunity to meet with their nursing sister, our social worker, our home-based carers and our doctor all in one place."
