PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A Plettenberg Bay drug bust over the weekend led to the arrest of an alleged drug peddler and saw a substantial amount of drugs confiscated.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie, the 40-year-old man was arrested in Kranshoek on Saturday 4 June after police followed up on information provided by the public.
Tik and Mandrax were found and confiscated during a search of the man's home.
"During preliminary investigation it was determined that the suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a similar drug-related offence," Pojie said.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrate's Court this week.
