GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Most libraries in the Greater Knysna will reopen to the public this week, with the bulk reopening today, Monday 15 February, while Sedgefield will reopen on Wednesday and Fairview on Monday 22 February.
The facilities have been closed since December 2020 when local Covid-19 infections soared and the Garden Route was declared a hotspot.
Very strict Covid-19 regulations and protocols will be adhered to once the libraries reopen, one of which is that all returned material will be quarantined for 72 hours before it can be placed on the system or loaned out again.
All libraries, except Fairview, are open Mondays to Fridays from 10:00 to 16:00.
The hours for Fairview are 12:00 to 16:00.
