KNYSNA NEWS - Thanks to the efforts of the Knysna Initiative for Learning and Teaching (KILT), over one hundred children in need received brand-new school bags and stationery packs.
The initiative was started in December of last year, with donation boxes being placed at the Knysna Mall for the community to donate R250 which then went towards stationery packs for the school children starting the New Year.
The community rallied together and raised an incredible amount of R25,000.00 to make this initiative possible.
As part of KILT's Teacher Development Programme, the donations were distributed among participating primary schools in the Knysna region.
KILT would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Knysna Mall and every single person who contributed to this good cause.
