KNYSNA NEWS - The winners of the 9th Diageo Responsible Drinking Media Awards (RDMAs) have been announced, following an awards ceremony held at Four Seasons Westcliff Hotel in Johannesburg on Thursday 3 October, with former Knysna FM host Pieter Cloete amongst the winners.
The RDMAs recognise journalists and media at large for their efforts to positively influence perceptions and habits related to the irresponsible use of alcohol.
Former Knysna FM radio personality Pieter Cloete was in the running for the Best Community Radio award, for his The difference between alcoholism and binge drinking – it will shock you insert on Groot FM, which won him the award.
