KNYSNA NEWS - The case of the Thembelitsha Primary School teacher charged with five counts of sexual assault saw yet another postponement in the Knysna Magistrate's Court on Friday 15 March.
When prosecutor Zukile Mqolo requested the matter to be deferred for consultations, the accused's defence lawyer Carl Jeppe objected and said this should be the final postponement otherwise it should be struck off the roll.
Jeppe mentioned that his client has been suspended by the Western Cape department of education pending the outcome of the case.
Magistrate Leanore Swarts granted the postponement, and the teacher who is out on R7 000 bail is due to appear in the Knysna Magistrate's Court again on 12 April.
