TOWN AREA
BURGLARY - FICHAT ST (Thurs 13 September @ 08h20) – Client reported that her neighbour's house was broken into. Suspect reportedly entered via open window. A flat-screen TV was reported missing.
COMMON ROBBERY - LINKS FOOTPATH (Sat 15 September @ 11h36) - Our control room received a call to report that a lady was robbed on the lagoon footpath. The suspect held the victim at knifepoint and stole her camera and cash. The victim was a tourist and declined to open a case. The area was searched but suspect was not found.
HOUSE ROBBERY - LONG ST (Sat 15 September @ 23h00) – Resident phoned in to report an intruder in their home. Officers responded and a female suspect was apprehended at the scene in possession of items from the house. A case of house robbery was opened by SAPS.
SHOPLIFTING - NELSON ST (Mon 17 September @ 10h30) - Allsound guard radioed to report that a suspect was apprehended for shoplifting. A case was opened with SAPS and suspect was charged.
BURGLARY - MAIN RD (Wed 19 September @ 04h50) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed the break-in. Suspect forced open a window but fled when the alarm triggered. Keyholder confirmed nothing was missing. A case was opened.
KNYSNA HEIGHTS / PARADISE
THEFT OUT M.V - LLOYD ST (Wed 19 September @ 16h56) - Client phoned to report that their car was broken into during the night. A few small items were stolen. Owner would open a case with SAPS.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
HOUSE ROBBERY - MILKWOOD DR (Thurs 13 September @ 12h51) - Client requested assistance at neighbouring property. Suspect had forced open a bedroom window. When the owner confronted the suspect, the suspect hit him over the head and then fled. SAPS were notified and a case of house robbery was opened.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - VIGILANCE DR (Thurs 13 September @ 08h00) – Client reported a break-in at the back of the building. Entry was gained via a bathroom window. Car parts were reported missing. Case was opened with SAPS.
RHEENENDAL / PHANTON RIVER
BURGLARY - RHEENENDAL RD (Sun 16 September @ 19h08) - Client requested assistance after a neighbouring farm was broken into. It was reported that 2-3 suspects were seen fleeing with bicycles. Allsound Officers and members of the farm watch responded and searched the area. One suspect was apprehended and 2 bicycles were recovered. Case was opened with SAPS and suspect was handed over.
