KNYSNA NEWS - After a recent accident claimed the life of an elderly woman when she was hit by a truck on the N2/Main Road through the Knysna CBD, another woman lost her life after a truck hit her on the same highway near the Nekkies turn-off at about 19:55 on Friday 13 December.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies, the Knysna police have opened a culpable homicide docket following the death of the 30-year-old woman who, according to preliminary investigation, was crossing the road when the accident occurred.
She was declared deceased on the scene and her name will be released as soon as her next of kin have been informed, said Spies.
