KNYSNA NEWS - Vermont Old Age Centre hosted a Music Hour on Sunday 11 June to entertain its residents and hopefully raise a few funds for the centre.
The local Knysna Community Band and musicians from the New Apostolic Church and St James Brigade provided music to the residents and invited members of the community.
No admission fees were requested, but those attending donated what they could to the centre.
The newly elected chairman, Mark Lamini, shared an important message to those attending, calling on the residents of Knysna to support Vermont in their endeavours to repair and replace its dignity.
"It will take a humongous effort from all to repair this institution but with patience and hard work in doing so and with prayers and help from all involved this will be much easier to achieve."
