KNYSNA NEWS - The very first graduates of community-based training provider Health Wellness Services were celebrated during a special ceremony at the Hornlee Civic Hall last month.
The ceremony was held on Sunday 23 October, to honour members of the Hornlee community who completed their courses in home-based care and healthcare assistance.
"Multiple motivational speakers graced the event such as head sister Stander of Concordia Clinic, Nathan Pietersen of Youth Development in the Garden Route, staff male nurse Richard Anthony at the Concordia Clinic as well as four speakers from the community who carry out development in the Hornlee community," said Moneiqe Reinecke of Health Wellness Services.
Also speaking at the event, she announced that she will be paying the course fees of six homeless individuals in the next group of graduates.
