KNYSNA NEWS - After a positive start to the eighth annual Knysna Timber Festival, rain put a damper on proceedings as it rained out all activities on the final day of the fest.
The festival had started on a high note on Friday 13 March, with organisers seeing the best Friday attendance that they've ever had come through the gates.
"Everyone seemed to really enjoy it, and the families in particular had a great time," Principal of the festival, Karl van Lith, said.

There had been a mountain bike race and fund-a-forest drive planned for Sunday, but unfortunately for organisers and festivalgoers rain had the final say on the festival.
