Strawberry Festival: Sweet and sticky fun for festival goers

GARDEN ROUTE BUSINESS NEWS - Join us at the George Strawberry Festival Presented by Ola taking place at Redberry Farm in George on the 29 and 30 September for a festive weekend of family fun.

Annual attractions for young festival goers are the enormous inflatable play park, kids shows on the Redberry Farm Family Stage, Redberry Farm family activities and a 5km family fun run/walk.

With an assortment of jumping castles, bucking bronco bull, giant slide, the rocket, sumo suits and paint ball target shooting, the inflatable kids play park will keep tiny festival goers happy all day! Redberry Farm classic activities such as pick your own strawberries, pony rides, mini train, bubble ball and bumper boats on the farm dam, pedal go carts, feeding the rabbits and wooden playground are always popular attractions.

The Redberry Family Stage has free shows throughout the weekend featuring attractions like Lollos, a puppet show, balloon twisters, face painters and various performances by local dance schools. Meet Scarlett the Strawberry at the Meet the Mascot Parade. Sign up for some sweet and sticky fun by entering the free strawberry stomping or Kids Strawberry and ice cream eat off competitions throughout the weekend. Kids from age 6 will be showing off their best strawberry outfits in the Ace Models Miss Strawberry pageant.
