FOOTBALL NEWS - Barcelona arrived in Johannesburg on Wednesday with a squad of 21 players, including Lionel Messi although he is expected to make just a cameo appearance in the friendly against Mamelodi Sundowns at Soccer City (live on SuperSport).
Coach Ernesto Valverde picked a full strength squad, leaving only the injured Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen behind and adding three players from the youth academy to the squad – Alena, Ruiz de Galarreta and Cuenca – with a view to giving them a run out in the team.
