KNYSNA NEWS - Music, dance and drama took centre stage as Oakhill Preparatory School's talented pupils entertained family and friends during the school's annual Light Blue Concert.

The much-anticipated production celebrated the creativity and performing arts talents of the learners during an evening of memorable performances.

The audience was treated to performances by the intermediate phase band, marimba band and intermediate phase choir, while a number of learners also impressed with instrumental performances and vocal solos.

One of the evening's highlights was the charming Violin Faeries Strings Ensemble, featuring Grade Two and Three violinists. The Oakhill bus drivers, affectionately known as the '7 Cousins', also delighted the audience with a surprise musical and dance performance that earned enthusiastic applause.

"Every item brought something unique to the stage," said the director of music, Laticha van Wageningen.

As a Trinity Music Examination Centre offering tuition in more than 20 instruments, Oakhill nurtures young musical talent and provides learners with opportunities to develop their performing arts skills.
