GEORGE NEWS - After a six-year break, the junior South African indoor cricket teams are back in George for two action-packed evenings on 7 and 8 October.

Hosted at the cutting-edge Triumph Indoor Sports Arena, located at 2 Ring Road, George Industria, matches begin at 17:30 both nights.

This tour marks a proud moment for the Eden district, celebrating the growth of indoor cricket since the SA juniors last visited in 2018. That tour inspired Eden's U10 and U18 teams to enter the ICSA Interprovincial Tournaments in 2019, leading to the rise of two SA U10 players, one SA U18 player and a 13&U World Cup player in 2023/24.

Eden boasts four players currently in the SA U18 squad, plus one reserve - a full-circle achievement from the original 2019 U10 team.
