Protest against school closures

KNYSNA NEWS - Several community members of Brackenhill protested against the proposed closing of 27 schools, including Brackenhill Primary School, by the Western Cape Department of Education.

Although the departments motivation for considering the possible closure has been communicated to the schools' teachers, parents and the public, the protesters stand firm that they do not want Brackenhill Primary School to close and neither do they want their children to attend other schools.
