KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - Two of Knysna's top local bridge players, Heidi Atkinson and Christine Barker have qualified to play in the Simultaneous World Bridge Finals in Beijing from 21 - 24 September.
They will be competing against 19 other international bridge playing couples from across the world. "We are so excited to be able to represent our country and thank the World Wide Bridge Federation for covering our travel and accommodation costs."
All competitors qualified by virtue of their results in a World Wide Bridge Competition, that saw all the boards played on the same day throughout the world. The competitors were chosen from the six series that were played.
Atkinson and Barker leave for China on 7 September.
