Buurtbewaarders buurtwag Sektor 3, sentrale besigheidsgebied van Albertinia hou op Dinsdag 28 Maart 'n vergadering en nooi die gemeenskap uit om dit by te woon. Die doel is om die gemeenskap en besighede aan die buurtwag bekend te stel en te verduidelik waarvoor hul daar is, hul funksie en om om veiligheidswenke met die gemeenskap te deel. Die polisie sal ook teenwoordig wees. Die vergadering sal om 18:00 by die biblioteeksaal op Albertinia plaasvind.

Friends of the Great Brak Museum are invited to a short meeting at 18:00 on Thursday, 30 March at Ilita Lodge
On the agenda is a talk by Michael Puffett on the way forward for the new Great Brak Business Forum. The museum board chair will discuss the latest happenings at the museum and other interesting occurrences in Great Brak River, as well as the financial year end results as on 31 March.
A short discussion will follow on what events are planned for the friends in the coming months. Input is required on what the friends would like to see in the 2017/2018 museum program. Following which, some proposed expenditure from the Friends Fund to complete the 2016/2017 financial year end will be discussed.

Op 31 Maart is dit weer tyd vir die NG Kerk Reebok-gemeente se jaarlikse kermis. Gemeentelede het alle rede om te glo dat hierdie kermis weer eens aan verwagtings sal voldoen, juis omdat daar nuwwighede by die kermis aangebied word.
Al die tradisionele lekkernye en meer word aangebied. Daar is vars vleis, braaivleis, potjiekos en 'n plaaskombuis. Om al die stalletjies te akkommodeer, word bykomende tente gebruik. Wees 'n lekker straatkuier-atmosfeer te wagte.

International Guitar Night

The first-ever Knysna International Guitar Night taking place at the Montessori School in Knysna on March 31 features guitarist Thomas Leeb from California, US. Joining him will be South Africa's Tony Cox.
Leeb played his first solo concert at the age of 15 and released his first acoustic guitar album at 17. He is a frequent performer at concerts and festivals in Asia, the Americas and Europe and has been featured in numerous guitar magazines all over the world. Cox should not need much introduction to South African audiences. This multiple award-winning guitarist will be treating the audience to songs from his new album Enormous Flowers, about to be released, and his trademark guitar playing. Time: 20:15.
