NATIONAL NEWS - About R70 million in lotto winnings is yet to be claimed.
The first R19 million has to be claimed by Saturday or else it expires. The rest of the winnings will expire before next July.
Each lottery winner has a year to collect their earnings.
Ithuba’s Busisiwe Koloi says three winners in Gauteng still haven’t claimed their money.
“We actually think lots of people tend to buy tickets and forget, they forget to check their numbers. We also have a number of people that tend to buy their tickets and only check them, once a year.”
