Ward councillor caught shoplifting

KNYSNA NEWS FLASH - The police have confirmed that a ward councillor of Knysna, Phumla Nkam was arrested at about 18:00 on Friday, August 3 for shoplifting at Checkers.
A security guard found her in possession of goods to the value of R435, including a bottle of Shiraz, two bottles of KWV brandy and four jars of Pond's moisturiser.
"She was released the same day on acknowledgement of guilt," said Knysna Police communication officer, Lieutenant Sharon Damons.
