Industry exposes students to real world
Municipal Traffic Department, Pacaltsdorp accommodated Office Admin NC(V) Level 4, Business Management N6 & HR N4 students.
SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - In order to prepare their students for future employment, South Cape FET College, in partnership with industry, organised practical work experience for their students in the private and public sector.

"Workplace experience is one of the requirements when graduates apply for jobs. That is why the college is so grateful for businesses who participate in the job shadowing project that took place across the entire Southern Cape.

"This is an ongoing exercise and the college invites all industry role players to join in. This is also to their own benefit as they gain themselves more experienced and employable rookies when needed," says Mr Selwyn Kiewiet, Job Placement Officer at South Cape FET College.

With the next holiday break around the corner, Mr Kiewiet invites business owners and managers to register their businesses for participation in the job shadowing project by contacting him at 044 884 0359 or 083 460 1557.
